Jungle of Gods and beasts
Location: Tikal, Guatemala
Type: Photography
Year: 2017

The Mayan ruins were never truly abandoned. They simply changed guardians.
These temples once built to contemplate the sky and the mysteries of the universe, are now inhabited by creatures who seem to know those same patterns and secrets.
This photo series explores the ongoing conversation between past and present: monumental stones raised to outlast centuries, now being the home of ephemeral architects who build their geometry from silk, shell and instinct. An architecture that persists and adapts.
Because the jungle never stopped telling it’s story, and for those who look closely, it’s language is still alive.
